CBU Enrolls LAB to build a Microsite for their 150th Anniversary

Christian Brothers University engaged web design firm LAB Digital to build a microsite for the university’s 150th anniversary.

LAB Digital was especially excited to work with CBU since founder Michael Newsome is an alumnus of the Memphis institution.

CBU wanted a specialized microsite to celebrate its Sesquicentennial Celebration and highlight prominent alumni. Some of the requirements included matching the university’s existing branding, look and feel, while giving the microsite a unique, fresh spin on things.

The ‘Next 150 Years’ feature displays alumni and other stakeholders’ visions for the future of the university. In addition, visitors to the site can submit their own vision for the university’s future.

The microsite also highlights 150 fun facts about CBU as well as vignettes with notable alumni’s stories. With an interactive timeline of CBU’s history and milestones as well as a calendar of events, the microsite is highly functional, engaging as well as informative.
