We designed the BuyAirDirect eCommerce website to have clear calls-to-action, be easy-to-use and communicate the brand’s values. The client wanted to help its customers easily select the right size AC unit to purchase for their home. We helped them accomplish this by designing an easy to understand map as a visual guide. The map is designed to show climate zones and be paired with a table of home square footage ranges to help the user decide on the correct size unit for their area of the country and home size. Easy of use is paramount, so that consumers have a frictionless journey from browsing and learning to ordering and receiving their unit. A visual shopping cart, mega-menu and shopping bread crumbs make the user experience a breeze for the do-it-yourself customer or the customer who just wants to save the markup that most HVAC company installers charge.
