Ozark Motor Lines came to us with a clear need: they wanted a new recruitment website designed specifically to attract and convert drivers, but they also needed a smarter long-term SEO strategy to support ongoing hiring. We designed and developed a mobile-first site with built-in local and long-tail search optimization to help them get discovered in a highly competitive space.

Since launch, we’ve been retained for ongoing SEO work to keep building momentum and visibility — from technical optimization to content development and performance monitoring.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In the 1960s, Ozark Motor Lines, a notable family-owned logistics company, requested our skills in developing a website to attract professional truck drivers. Tasked by our Memphis web design team, we embarked on creating drive4ozark.com, blending Ozark Motor Lines’ rich history with modern design.

Our goal was to honor Ozark Motor Lines’ legacy while crafting an attractive, user-friendly website. A retro design was chosen to resonate with the company’s history and appeal to professional truck drivers.

We adopted design elements from the 1960s when Ozark Motor Lines was founded, using vintage colors like Hot Rod Red and Cool Seafoam Teal, and illustrations of classic trucks and road signs. Bold, playful fonts were chosen to augment the site’s retro vibe.

A sticky call-to-action area was added to boost engagement and simplify recruitment. This feature remained on screen, prompting potential drivers to apply or contact the company. Coupled with user-friendly navigation, it made for a seamless browsing experience.

Acknowledging the prevalence of mobile browsing, we ensured a responsive design. The retro design elements and sticky call-to-action area adapted well to smaller screens, catering to drivers on the move.

By merging past charm with modern design, our team revitalized Ozark Motor Lines’ online presence. The drive4ozark.com website stands as a tribute to the company’s history, attracting and recruiting top logistics industry talent.
